The Good Neighbor Center is a family homeless shelter located in Tigard, providing emergency shelter to up to 9 families at a time. The shelter is a six week program, and provides families a safe, supportive environment as well as life skills training, case management and enrichment opportunities throughout their stay.

We are seeking 1-2 interns to help support staff in the management of the Summer School program. Summer School begins Mid-June and runs Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm.Interns would be helping to provide assistance with activities, academic tutoring, and supervision of students during lunch, recess, and field trips out in the community. Ideal candidates would have experience and interest working with at-risk children from diverse backgrounds.
