Children's Cancer Therapy Development Institute

Primary Industry:

Pharmaceutical / Biotech

Our mission is to translate scientific discovery into clinical trials by understanding and proving new disease-specific treatment options for children with cancer. For many forms of childhood cancer, we’ve seen little to no advancement in treatment options for over thirty years. To overcome this stalemate, cc-TDI is embarking upon a bold scientific course of discovery to create more effective clinical trials for those childhood cancers that are most in need of treatments to save kids’ lives.

Our research team is exploring and testing state-of-the-art treatment options for the most urgent issues facing children with cancer. By proving these methods in the laboratory, we can deliver smart, hope-filled discoveries to be prioritized in clinical trials for kids. Working in our own freestanding research institution allows us to act swiftly and nimbly to achieve results—bringing cost control, speed, purpose, and focus to translate effective treatments into the clinic.

Positions Available:

Administrative / Office Management

We’re looking for an intern to help with administration/office management at our biotech startup in Beaverton. The position duties would be flexible, depending on availability and the student’s interests, but would include a mix of general office duties (like scanning and filing) with more interesting responsibilities (posting to our organization’s social media, helping organize our annual education course for families, etc.).

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in nonprofit work or having exposure to a startup in its early days, who is willing to help out with some of the day-to-day administration and some truly unique responsibilities.
