Denver Rescue Mission

Denver Rescue Mission is changing lives in the name of Christ by meeting people at their physical and spiritual points of need with the goal of returning them to society as productive, self-sufficient citizens.  Denver Rescue Mission is committed to the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith, and affirms the Apostle’s Creed without reservation.

Denver Rescue Mission is committed to meeting the needs of the poor and homeless within reach of its ministry by providing the following:

  • Share the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost.
  • Services which will meet the immediate needs of those seeking assistance.
  • Programs of rehabilitation to those people who are willing to modify their destructive lifestyles for long range social productivity.
  • Be an advocate for the poor and needy through public education and awareness.
  • Assistance to the community and other agencies in aiding the poor and needy in their own and other institutional environments.
  • Administrative excellence and integrity as caretakers of our God-given resources for the purpose of meeting all immediate needs and long term visions in caring for the poor and needy.

Internships at the Denver Rescue Mission help students and adults gain experience in the non-profit, human services, and ministry fields. Our internships are designed to be hands on, challenging, and productive. Our goal is to help train, lead, and provide opportunities that will allow our interns to either further help the Denver Rescue Mission or other organizations nationally and globally.
