Cascade Pacific Council

Cascade Pacific Council Outreach Programs strive to develop and deliver engaging, research based academic, character, leadership and career focused programs that guide and enable all students to achieve their full potential. We provide engaging and relevant solutions that positively impact academic performance, social & emotional maturity, character development, and career education for all students.

Learning for Life is an outreach educational program targeting the highest risk youth in our community. We provide after school and in school programs that give young people the opportunity to learn about their community, enhance their self-esteem, learn safety when they are home alone, and come to understand their importance to our community.

Opportunities may include, but are not limited to:
• Working with disenfranchised youth in an academic setting, 1st-5th grades
• Assisting with classroom management
• Being a positive and safe adult in the lives of the youth we serve
• Helping to chaperone field trips and/or events

• Unpaid
• We provide trainings, mentorship, and supervision
• Opportunities to attend community meetings and networking events

The youth we serve are used to adults coming and going in their lives. We ask that if you start a term, you finish it. Each term is 8 to 10 weeks long. We have programming all year round broken into four terms: fall, winter, spring, and summer.
